Jorgie Porter has shared her fears that her fiancé could appear on Strictly Come Dancing before her.
The Hollyoaks actress has played Theresa McQueen in the Channel 4 soap on and off since 2008 but fans are about to see her real life away from the fictional village.
She has signed up to appear in ITVBe’s Drama Queens where Hollyoaks, Coronation Street and Emmerdale stars lay themselves bare on camera as they juggle late-night finishes, photo-shoots and last-minute line learning with their family lives.

Opening up about Drama Queens, Jorgie said: “I love this type of filming. I’ve had all my family involved and they’re not used to this.. Ollie my fiancé, my baby, my friends as well. They’ve loved it. My mum just freezes! I say to her: ‘What are you doing? Just be yourself!’
“It is funny. I forgot that my mum’s not in this world., she’s herself and as soon as the camera arrives, she becomes a robot! Ollie is really good at it. He is too good. It is annoying, he is so natural. He will say the right things all the time. I will just blurt stuff out. He is a straight-talking guy. We have this little joke about him getting Strictly. I will be fuming That has been my dream.
“Strictly is always one of those things I have wanted to do but the time has not been right, or something else has come up – like the jungle. I just want to dance. I am going to do a Debbie McGee and do it when I am old.” Ollie popped the question to Jorgie back in 2021 and they welcomed their little boy Forrest the following year. Drama Queens viewers will get to see exactly what the husband and wife to be are like behind closed doors in the access all areas show.
Jorgie said: “We are quite passionate people, and we are quite honest with each other. I am in love with him so hard because he won’t hide things and we both test each other. We know we will love each other forever and we know the arguments aren’t that massive when it comes to it. It is because we love each other – that is why we argue – because we want to get on. I don’t like to argue and go to bed. He likes to sleep on it, but I’ll be poking him in the night going ‘one more thing’ and meanwhile, he is trying to sleep.”
Drama Queens launches on Wednesday, April 10th at 9pm on ITVBe and ITVX
