Corrie fans stunned as they spot rarely-seen area of Rovers — but have ‘so many questions’

Coronation Street viewers have been left gobsmacked over a rarely-seen area of Weatherfield.

The ITV soap returned for another instalment on Tuesday (April 2). In the episode Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) was tasked to cooking up a meal for her ex Daniel Osbourne and his new girlfriend Bethany Platt.

As she tried to conjure up some culinary delights, she got to work in the Rovers Return kitchen. But fans were left distracted over the room that is rarely seen on the screen.

A third penned: “When did the Rovers get an industrial kitchen? I swear it was the size of an under-stairs cupboard not so long ago!” Another wrote: “No way! First time in ages we have seen the Rovers kitchen in ages!”

A fifth chimed in and said: “The Rovers Kitchen?! I have far too many questions.” A sixth penned: “Wait… that kitchen is in the Rovers… really!!!”

Fans were left seriously distracted

Elsewhere on the soap, Corrie icon Tracy Barlow left the soap. The character, played by Kate Ford, was confirmed to be leaving the soap this week after her affair with lover Tommy Orpington.

Fans will recall the pair struck up a romance when husband Steve was away in Spain, and at the time Tommy was decorating her house. Tracy and the former footy star soon started a fling – but it all eventually came out, leaving Steve heartbroken.

However, Tracy and Tommy ended things after a miscommunication, only to reunite this week. Tommy had left Tracy a letter detailing his love for her – only for Steve to intercept and burn it.

Tracy eventually found out about the letter and demanded Steve to come clean. After learning the truth, she rekindled things with Tommy and made a huge life decision – to move to Spain with Tommy. And during Tuesday’s episode (March 2) Tracy said her goodbyes to the cobbles residents.
