Fern Britton could be about to storm TV screens once again.
The 66-year-old, who was once a beloved This Morning presenter proved to be quite the hit with fans on ITV after her stint on Celebrity Big Brother last month. It would seem, she’s not about to hang up her TV boots just yet either.
Having proved herself to be popular with viewers and securing her place in the final as the only female celebrity, it appears she’s ready to get back on screens once again as regular.

The mum-of-three had taken a step back from the limelight after her career with This Morning came to an end. Rumours of a rift with her co-star Philip Schofield also began to surface following her exit.
According to Bella Magazine, Fern could be about to get her just desert over what was speculated to be a longstanding feud between the pair. They claim that the former ITV host could be plotting sweet revenge.
The publication says that the TV personality is hoping to have such a triumphant comeback that it’ll prove to be the “ultimate revenge on Phillip Schofield”.
A source told the mag: “Fern is planning her big TV comeback. She’s desperate to do her own chat show and is already in talks with TV networks.”
They went on to add: “CBB has done her the world of good. The public forgot how likeable she is, but the show has given her that new lease of life.”
The source also said: “It’s no secret she was treated badly before, and it put her off doing TV again, but now she feels ready to be back on screens. She’s warm, caring and fun – all the things TV producers look for in a host.
“Now Phillip isn’t in the picture anymore, she can get her ultimate revenge and be a success on TV once again!”
Back in 2009, Fern was replaced by fan-favourite Holly Willoughby on This Morning after devoting over a decade with the programme. It was said at the time that Fern quit her role after realising Phillip was paid £250,000 more than her for doing the same role.
In his 2020 autobiography, Life is What You Make It, Phillip made reference to him and Fern coming to blows, explaining that this had been the final straw between them. He opened up about a disagreement over the show’s content and was left “stunned” when Fern accused him of “meddling”.
He said in his book: “I walked back into the make-up room and calmly said, ‘Please don’t do that to me again.’ I think, for whatever reason, that was the point that Fern decided she didn’t want to do This Morning anymore.”
