Amanda Holden’s daughter Lexi, 18, is her spitting image in holiday bikini snap

Amanda Holden’s 18 year old daughter, Lexi Hughes, is the spitting image of her famous mum as she posed in a bikini.

The young model shared a snap on Instagram, lounging on some steps by the clear blue ocean. Wearing a bikini strikingly similar to one her mum wore on a trip to Sicily in Summer 2022, Lexi looked the part.

Lexi accessorised her look with dainty jewellery. Captioning her holiday snap, she wrote: “Working hard or hardly working? “

Her post also included a snap of her wearing a black bikini as she pushed a bike along the sandy beach. This was also similar to one of Amanda’s previous holiday photos.

In 2022, Lexi signed with Storm Model agency, the same agency that launched the career of British fashion icon Kate Moss. But despite her promising modelling career, she’s not putting all her eggs in one basket just yet.

Lexi still want to continue with her education. The ambitious teen is also considering attending university in America after completing her A-Levels.

Amanda revealed: “Lexi was approached last year [by her model agency] and obviously we were waiting until she was 16 to sign anything. It’s something she actually wants to do, so I’m taking the lead from her.

“She’s a very quiet girl but she knows her own mind. She’s very bright and wants to continue her studies.”

Amanda who is also mother to Hollie, 11, with whom she shares with her husband Chris Hughes, recently displayed her emotions when discussing the prospect of Lexi leaving home soon. The TV star admitted that she finds the whole idea of her kids leaving home hard.

In an episode of Amanda and Alan’s Italian Job, which aired on BBC One last month, she expressed her trepidation about her eldest daughter moving out. She said: “When your children, when they leave home, you only spend a year of your life with them ever again. They say you have 18 summers and then you’re lucky to see them,” she shared.
