Jimmy Tarbuck has dubbed fellow funnyman Michael McIntyre a “fat fella” who “bounces” around the stage.
Despite McIntyre, 48, being one of the UK’s most beloved comics – the highest-grossing stand-up in the world in 2012 – Tarby isn’t keen on him.
Former host of TV game show Winner Takes All and Sunday Night at the London Palladium, Jimmy said he preferred older comics.

Asked about McIntyre, Tarby, 84 said: “Is he the fat fella who bounces round the stage? He wants to be careful, him…he’ll fall into the orchestra pit.”
And pressed on if he thought McIntyre, who has sold more than five million DVDs of his live stand-up in the UK alone, was funny, he said: “No, he’s as funny as a kick in the b******s.”
He said he loved Peter Kay, Des O’Connor, Bruce Forsyth and Dave Allen – but can’t stand McIntyre, Bradley Walsh and others.
Tarby, starting a stand-up tour of the UK, “Do you know Bradley Walsh? On everything him… he ought to be careful – you can be on too much.”
He said Sarah Millican was “too vulgar”, Rowan Atkinson a “show-off”, and Frank Skinner “too explicit”.
Tarbuck, who has been both a comedian and a TV presenter, had a lot to say about most of the biggest comedians on telly at the moment while taking aim at some of the primetime TV acts.
Michael McIntyre’s career has made him one of the most successful comedians in the business after first kicking off his career in 1999. He appeared multiple times on Live at the Apollo and has released four DVDs with a total of over five million copies in the UK.
He’s had comedy panel show and chat show appearances including Mock the Week, 8 out of 10 Cats and he currently has his own show titles Michael McIntyre’s The Wheel.
McIntyre has also released two memoirs which both proved to be very popular.
