Coronation Street star Samia Longchambon had a “supernatural experience” the night her gran died.
The 41-year-old actress, who has played Maria Connor in the ITV soap since she was a teen, said “heavy china ornaments” on the mantlepiece suddenly started moving on their own.
It had never happened before or since. Her family believes it was her nana’s spirit “saying goodbye”. Samia, who has also appeared in Dancing on Ice and Cooking with the Stars, said her gran had been with her mum when they bought the decor. The actress told My Weekly magazine: “The night my nanna died I was at home with my mum and dad.“We had some heavy china ornaments on the mantlepiece and they suddenly started moving.
