CBB champ David Potts snubs Louis Walsh despite number promise in fresh update

David Potts has given fans an update on his Celebrity Big Brother co-star Louis Walsh.

Potts, 30, joined the panel on Good Morning Britain on Wednesday (April 10) after winning the ITV reality show last month. David was left stunned after being declared the winner, beating out Strictly pro Nikita Kuzmin.

Among the other stars to enter the house was Irish music mogul and X Factor icon Louis Walsh. After three weeks in the house, Louis eventually left the show in fourth place in the final.

Speaking to GMB hosts Kate Garraway and Ed Balls, alongside showbiz host Duncan James, David looked back fondly on his time in the House. He added that he had never expected to come out on top and “had it in his head that Nikita was going to win”.

However, during the interview, the 71-year-old manager came up, as Louis said he would give his number to the finalists so that they could stay in touch. This also included Potts, despite the fact that the two never seemed to get along during their stay in the iconic house.

When asked by Duncan on what David made of Louis and his complaining about Potts’ singing, he hit back saying: “I’ve got a great singing voice!” He continued on, describing Walsh as a “panto villain”, adding that after making a sly dig, the Irishman would give a cheeky wink to let them know it was all in jest.

Attention then turned to whether the pair had stayed in touch, and David admitted the twosome had not kept in contact. However, the Ibiza Weekender star admitted that it was not down to Louis, but rather David himself who did not give his number.

“I thought Louis was lovely,” David said. “But no, I’ve not given him my number just yet as I don’t want him mithering me!” which sent Ed, Kate and Duncan into fits of laughter.

However, it was clear that Potts has no bad blood between him and Louis as he was quick to add: “I just thought I would leave him for now. I just need a couple of weeks to re-group first.”

Later on in the interview, David was asked about his iconic bare legs that became synonymous with the reality legend. Potts was more than thrilled to talk about them, and give viewers a look of his lower body, leaving Ed completely bemused.

After being asked to give a “quick peek of his legs”, David outstretched his left leg by pointing his toes in the air, giving viewers an eyeful of the star. However, despite being branded as “glorious” by Kate, 56, Ed was less impressed and admitted he was “speechless” at the move by the star.

Good Morning Britain airs every weekday at 6am on ITV1 and ITVX.
