Sharon Osbourne brands ‘classless’ Amanda Holden ‘out of her league’ amid feud

Sharon Osbourne has issued a scathing remark to Amanda Holden.

Sharon’s statement comes after Amanda Holden spoke out against her for commenting on Simon Cowell while on Celebrity Big Brother. She told Daily Mail: “I hated seeing certain people in a reality show dissing Simon – he’s the person who’s given them all the chances, given them a lot of money and a lifestyle they probably wouldn’t have had.”

Sharon took to X to write that she was “responding to Amanda’s interview” and that she “respects the fact that she felt the need to defend her good friend and employer Simon Cowell”. Osbourne then noted that Simon is also “her husband’s employer”.

She then typed: “Unlike you, the brand of Sharon Osbourne is known worldwide. There are many countries that I could work in if I choose to, however, I don’t have the ambition or time to do so and unlike you, I don’t work in radio or pantomime.”

Osbourne said that their “worlds are totally different” and continued on: “Before you were born, I was living in a mansion in Beverly Hills and continue to do so today and continue to have my country estate in England as well.”

Sharon was eager to point out that she “never discusses money and power” as she deems it “classless and rude” but claimed Amanda had “forced her hand to divulge these things”. She then quipped: “[…] The truth is my money and success were not due to doing a couple of Simon Cowell talent shows.”

The music mogul then clarified that she “enjoyed” the experience and Simon “paid her very well” but her profits “went on a few handbags”. She also stated that while on X Factor, she had “global accomplishments” with established artists, was a “successful festival producer,” a “best-selling author” and “producer of the hit MTV show The Osbournes”.

Sharon then quipped: “No disrespect to Simon Cowell but he needed me for musical credibility on X Factor […] it was only after several seasons of X Factor that Simon started to build his music empire and I give him much kudos for what he built.”

Mrs O then boasted about her “music icon” husband before closing by saying that she “hopes she’s given Holden a proper education” so that “next time she chooses to mention Sharon,” the Heart Radio host has “some facts in her pocket”. Sharon told Amanda that she “will never be in her league” before signing off.
