The Made in Chelsea star has only been married for a year, but Jamie Laing admitted things have already fizzled out in the bedroom.
The BBC Radio 1 DJ tied the knot with the blonde bombshell in the heart of London last year before they went on to have a star-studded celebrity bash in Marbella, Spain. Now the 35-year-old has confessed that he “can’t be bothered” to perform in the sack anymore.
Speaking to The Sun, the podcast host confessed that he is struggling to impress his new wife in the bedroom. He told the publication: “Sophie did say I was bog standard at sex and that is probably a fair description.

“You get worse as you get married. You become lazy. I used to start doing joined-up handwriting then I thought, ‘I can’t be bothered with that as it’s quicker for me to not do it joined up’. I’m a bit like that in the bedroom.

“I don’t give up half way but I do remember that once I rolled on top of Sophie and she said, ‘Oh, get on with it’.” Although the star has let things slide between the sheets, the presenter made sure to keep their relationship on track.
He is so committed that the couple regularly attend couple’s therapy to help keep their romance alight. Jamie went on: “I said to Sophie, ‘Look, 40 or 50 per cent of marriages end in divorce, I think it’ll be really good to do’, so we still go every other week and I think therapy brings self-awareness.
“It opens you up and makes you more empathetic. It makes you basically not become a sociopath and it allows you to have another opinion.” Jamie and fashion designer Sophie, 30, met on the E4 reality show, cementing their love on a 2019 series trip in the heart of South Africa.

It comes after the broadcaster claimed that he is one of Spencer Matthew’s only friends because he finds him both irritating and interesting. Speaking to Kate Thornton on her White Wine Question Time podcast, the star explained that the former Made in Chelsea star doesn’t have any pals aside from him and his wife, Vogue Williams.
He claimed that their Six Degrees from Jamie and Spencer podcast was a way for them to find Spencer more friends. The sweet manufacturer told listeners: “Spencer’s only friends in his life are me, his wife and … I don’t think his kids like him honestly!
“He doesn’t make an effort with people and I make an effort with him because I find him so furiously irritating and interesting at the same time. And we’ve been friends for so long.

“It’s like a toxic relationship you should get out of but you can’t. And also, I feel sorry for him a lot of the time. Well, not really. But sometimes I do!” Like his former co-star, Jamie also hopes to have his own family one day soon.
He told The Sun: “I want so many kids that at Christmas I could create a sleigh and attach them all to it and go, ‘Mush’, and they can drag me down the garden. If I have a son, I’m going to name him Blaze Laing, so he’ll sound like a porn star or a race car driver.”
