Lily Allen has cheekily let slip the crafty way she and hubby David Harbour got their own back on a troll who’s been hounding them online.
The ‘Smile’ singer, 38, dished the dirt on her romance with the Stranger Things star, 49, which kicked off in 2019 and led to wedding bells in 2020. Spilling the tea while chatting on Rob Beckett and Josh Widdicombe’s Parenting Hell podcast, which dropped last Friday, Lily confessed not everyone’s chuffed about her bagging David.
She hinted that there’s one keyboard warrior in particular who can’t stop ranting about their love life, obsessing over one of David’s famous exes though Lily kept schtum on whether it’s Alison Sudol or Julia Stiles she’s on about.

While talking about the flak celebs cop, Lily revealed: “There’s this one person, this like one troll, that is obsessed with David’s ex-girlfriend – my husband David – and hates the fact that he married me. And she’s like … she just sh**posts everywhere all over the internet.”
Having a chat on a recent podcast, our guest teased the hosts: “And me and David set up a production company and named it after her. We just thought she’ll be so utterly confused [when] her name comes up on the screen! ” Lily rounded off the convo with the comedians Rob and Josh by predicting in the latest episode: “It will so spin her out.”
In the past, Lily Allen has shared glimpses of her love life with David. On her Miss Me? podcast that she co-presents with her BFF Miquita Oliver, she spoke candidly about how they began dating. She mentioned: “David was the first date I ever went on.”
The lovebirds tied the knot back in 2020 and confirmed the happy news by posting their wedding snaps on social media. They pledged their lifelong commitment to each other in a private ceremony in Las Vegas.
Later revelations unveiled that the man performing the ceremony was an Elvis Presley impersonator, making for a memorable picture circulated after the event. The bride confessed later that she bought her dress on the day itself as reported earlier by the Independent.
David hinted that the newlywed couple celebrated with a “small reception,” serving burgers and fries from a fast-food joint. The attendees included Lily’s two daughters from her previous marriage to Sam Cooper.
