Drew Barrymore shared how she felt getting down and dirty on-screen with an actor 41 years older in a racy ‘90s film.
The actress became a household name thanks to her role in sci-fi classic ET aged just seven. Since then, it’s fair to say Drew has gone on to be one of Hollywood’s biggest stars.
From roles in blockbuster smash hits like Scream and Charlie’s Angels to becoming a daytime chat show host, Drew has kept busy over the years. And it seems the mum-of-two has not been afraid to strip off and bare all either.

No stranger to a racy sex scene, Drew has taken part in several naughty on-screen moments throughout her career. Most notably, in 1992’s erotic thriller Poison Ivy.
Shedding her good girl image, Drew was just a teenager when she took on the role of man-eater Ivy and filmed the cult classic film. Directed by Katt Shea the movie follows Sylvie Cooper (Sara Gilbert) who ends up befriending Ivy, played by Drew.
The troubled youngster Ivy quickly moves in with Sylvie. But Ivy gets a little too comfortable and things take a rather kinky turn.
Ivy ends up seducing Sylvie and her entire family, including her dad (Tom Skerritt) and her sick mum (Cheryl Ladd). And in a bid to take everything, bad girl Ivy also takes steps to try and murder Cheryl’s character Georgie.
Packed within the film’s 88 runtime are several saucy scenes – from romps in the rain with her best mate’s dad to getting caught mid-bonk by his daughter. What’s more, Drew and Sara’s characters even share a passionate lesbian moment.
But it seems Drew didn’t mind locking lips with her female co-star. In fact, it appears she preferred it to the sex scenes she filmed with Hollywood legend Tom Skerritt – who is 41 years older.
“I was much more nervous kissing Tom than Sara,” Drew said in 1992 while speaking to Entertainment Weekly. She added: “Tom, he’s like this elderly man.
“Who, you know, is extremely conservative, and after a love scene with Tom we’d sort of like shake hands, hug, laugh a little bit, and walk in opposite directions. Whereas Sara and I were sort of giggly girls about it.”
Talking more about the lesbian smooch, Drew went on: “I mean, yeah, it was sensual because two women kissing is beautiful and incredibly passionate.” She then noted how it was also “fun” and she and Sara would “jump around and giggle” after filming it.
