Neighbours beauty stripped totally naked with cat for Free The Nipple campaign

Neighbours legend Caitlin Stasey once stripped completely nude as part of a campaign for more women’s rights on social media.

Stasey, 33, played the role of Rachel Kinski on the show from 2005 to 2009. She opted leave the role after four years on Ramsay Street in order to focus on her education and her studies.

Following her stint on the show, which airs in the UK on Channel 5, the Aussie actress was able to land some large parts in her career including I, Frankenstein, Laura Hasn’t Slept and American comedy drama Bridge and Tunnel.

But back in 2017, actress Caitlin joined with thousands of women who were hitting back at social media for their double standards towards women. At the height of the #MeToo movement which dominated that year, women became increasingly frustrated that women were not allowed to show their bare chest on Instagram, whilst men could do so with no consequences.

As part of the ‘Free The Nipple’ protests, the actress shared a series of saucy photoshoots where she had left all her clothes behind, leaving fans floored. In several snaps, she could be seen completely nude, with very little left to the imagination – all the while she was cuddling her pet cat.

Streaking in her own garden, Stasey blacked out her nipples in the post, which was later deleted – though it was not confirmed whether Instagram or Caitlin herself took the post down. In another daring move, the actress shared a snap of her bare bum, showing off her smooth tan-lines and a small heart tattoo on her left butt cheek.

Before taking to her Instagram to flaunt the rule break to her fans, Caitlin had said she was annoyed at the double standards faced by women. In a furious series of tweets, she ranted: “They have taken down several of my photos, they’re just way slower to do so and don’t notify anymore.

“I’ve posted around half a dozen topless photos of the past month and only one is still remaining,” she continued as she fumed. “I don’t doubt it has everything to do with my numbers – I’ve engaged with them multiple times about their policies.”

The actress went on to say she had liaised with the company, which is owned by Meta, about the unfairness for women to be told to cover up but not men. However, she was less than impressed when the company got back in touch to explain the rationale for their decisions.

“They’ve obviously always just repeated the same half hearted guidelines,” Stasey said. “Every single photo with my nipples in them – including pics of me as a naked kid; around a dozen give or take.”
