Henry Cavill has shocked fans as he confirmed he is expecting his first child with girlfriend Natalie Viscuso.
Some social media users were so stunned by the huge baby announcement that they “fell to their knees at the grocery store”, while others rushed to congratulate the Superman star. Henry confirmed the news to Access Hollywood at the premiere of The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare on Monday (April 15).
He said: “I’m very excited about it. Natalie and I are very, very excited.” Natalie was spotted embracing her baby bump in a clinging black gown at the event; the pair held hands as they made their way into the premiere, with Natalie rocking her turtleneck frock and Henry in a suede navy jacket and matching trousers.

The pair have been a couple for almost three years, going Instagram official in 2021. They made their red carpet debut a year later for the release of Enola Holmes 2 in 2022.
Fans were overjoyed by the news, with one confessing on X: “Fell to my knees in the middle of the grocery store.” Another posted: “Imagine your dad is actually Superman!” While a third social media user agreed: “Love is a beautiful thing. Congratulations to you guys.”
Natalie works in the TV industry after getting her start in front of the camera on MTV series My Super Sweet 16 in 2005. According to MailOnline, it was her father’s position as a nightclub mogul that gave her the platform to appear on the show.
She famously said the line: “I deserve everything I have because I’ve always been the nice girl, never just the rich girl” on the show, and was seen splashing the cash with her collection of designer handbags. In her introduction, Natalie said: “I just recently moved to California – I’m the new girl in school but people actually know me because of the cars my dad has.”
Henry, meanwhile, previously told Men’s Health UK of fatherhood: “If I ever have kids one day, I want to be the dad who’s running round after them. And if I do have kids, even now, it’s starting to get quite late. But I want to be a fit and healthy dad, not hobbling round like, ‘OK, I’m just going to catch a breather.’”

He joked in 2015: “I couldn’t be happier right now. Things are fantastic. I’ve got so much opportunity, I feel very fortunate. I mean, the next stage is finding a wife and getting kids – not getting them, having them, hopefully! I haven’t found the right girl yet, still looking.
“But it’s tough for anyone to be in a relationship with someone like me. It’s a tough lifestyle. I’m looking for someone who is my age and will have a career. It’s easier said than done,” he said at the time, adding that he’s looking for someone who is “understanding” and can “compromise”.
