Ben Shephard has stepped in to explain why Jon Bon Jovi seemingly legged it off of This Morning.

Viewers tuning into Wednesday’s episode (April 17) were quick to spot Jon Bon Jovi making a sharp exit right after his interview. The rock icon was on the sofa chatting about his latest documentary with presenters Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard.

But as soon as the cameras stopped rolling, Bon Jovi was seen upping sticks and dashing out, prompting fans to flood social media with their reactions. On Twitter user remarked: “Yikes, Bon Jovi couldn’t wait to leave when they finished the interview.”

Another said: “Well, Jon Bon Jovi could not get out of there quick enough could he!” reports the Express.

After the Twitter storm and surge of comments online, Ben spoke up to clear the air. The host explained: “He’s very keen to get going, he’s got a very busy day.”

During the sit-down chat with the frontman about the upcoming docu-series, Cat Deeley observed: “It’s such an honest documentary, it certainly isn’t a puff piece.”

Ben was forced to address Bon Jovi’s swift exit explaining he had a busy schedule

Bon Jovi responded: “No, the blemishes are all there. You see your life flash before your eyes before you pass away. I don’t think I’m dead yet.”

Ben noted: “There is so much in it, we have all loved your music for decades now and have seen that journey as a band you have been on. Reflecting on revisiting past moments, Bon Jovi shared: “It was emotional, the band got together maybe six months ago and saw a rough cut.”

Some fans even believed Bon Jovi was “fake smiling” throughout and that something was off

He added: “It was emotional, there was the highs, there was the lows.” As the interview wrapped up, viewers witnessed Bon Jovi quickly expressing his thanks before scooting out of the studio quickly.

On internet goer commented: “#ThisMorning Jon Bon Jovi’s fake smiling, mild irritation and legging it out of there,” as another said: “Jon Bon Jovi couldn’t have got his a*** out of there quick enough.”
