Kate Hudson has never been one to shy away from a steamy situation.
The Hollywood starlet has been open about sex with her mother Goldie Hawn since she was young. Back in 2022, Hawn told People: “We talk a lot about sex, surprisingly,” as Hudson added that she “isn’t a prude” and “loves sex”.
The actress isn’t afraid of confessing her bedroom antics to her mother and admitted that she has a “sexually orientated type of personality”. This may have been helped by Goldie, who apparently taught Kate that sex is “so much fun” – talk about a mother-daughter bond!

Hudson is also open with her social media followers about her sex life and celebrated National Sex Day by stating: “If anybody needs me, I’m going to be in my bedroom for a good, I’m gonna say hour [and] 20…if he can handle it.”
She was referring to her fiancé Danny Fujikawa, who she’s been engaged to since 2021. The pair have been happily together since 2016 but before then, they knew each other for many years before they started to hit it off.
According to Hudson, her steamy sex session earned her “six FitPoints” – bonus.
Speaking of Danny, the pair spent quarantine together back in 2020 and Hudson revealed that they’d been keeping themselves… occupied. While chatting with Andy Cohen, the talk show host asked whether the lockdown had caused a positive change in her sex life and Kate responded with a cheeky “yes” as she sipped her wine.
Hudson explained she’d been “with the right person” and there was “nobody else she’d want to be quarantined with” as Danny is “just the best”.
Kate has also addressed her saucy moments way from the bedroom and onto the silver screen. While on the Jonathan Ross show back in 2023, Kate was asked by fellow guest Stormzy to explain how sex scenes work as they “look extremely difficult” to master.
Hudson entertained his question and explained that filming is “so mechanical” before revealing that her male co-stars wear belts which “tuck” everything in. Kate then quipped: “Sometimes it’s more enjoyable than other times. It just depends on the circumstance and the safety that you feel with that actor and how safe the space feels. It can get awkward.”
