Claire Sweeney and Ricky Hatton made their first public appearance as a couple on the red carpet.
The actress and the boxing champ met on the last series of Dancing On Ice and rumours about them being more than just friends have been swirling. Things ramped up this weekend when they attended the Co-Op Live arena launch in Manchester together.
All smiles as they posed for snaps, Ricky looked smart in a black jacket over a navy t-shirt, with a pair of jeans. And Claire positively glowed in a white jumpsuit with her caramel-coloured styled into bouncy waves.

Afterwards Ricky posted a photo on Instagram of them on the red carpet together, writing: “Great night with Claire @claire.sweeney tonight at the pre-opening of the fantastic new @thecooplive @coopuk in Manchester.” Claire shared the same image, telling fans it was a “great night”.

The pair first got friendly on the ITV ice-skating show, which started in January and was won by Ryan Thomas. Then earlier this month snaps were published in The Sun of them enjoying a night out together.
They seemed to confirm their romance last week when Ricky penned a sweet birthday message to Claire as she turned 53. Sharing pictures of the actress, he wrote: “Happy birthday Claire. Have the best day gorgeous. Lots of love. Ricky. Xxx.” He added a red heart emoji to his post.

“Thank you darling,” Claire replied, dropping a red heart of her own. The messages charmed fans, who said the stars made a “wonderful couple”. “I am so here for this!” one excited fan wrote on Instagram.
A few others joked that the boxer was “punching” and teased that he was “a lucky man” if he was stepping out with the blonde star. “She is gorgeous!” one gushed.

“Nice to see people being happy,” commented another fan, as someone else wrote: “You two are literally the most perfect couple.” “You both look so happy,” remarked another fan.
