Nicola Peltz has reached out to her mother-in-law Victoria Beckham after failing to attend the former Spice Girl’s 50th birthday party.
The VB fashion designer had a star-studded birthday bash but Nicola was notably absent from the event, which saw all five Spice Girls reunite and perform the group’s 1997 hit Stop. But it seems Brooklyn’s beau Nicola had Victoria in mind as she penned a sweet message to her on Instagram.
The 29-year-old actress shared a family picture, featuring David and Victoria Beckham with their children prior to the milestone celebration. In her message, she explained that she was spending quality time with her grandmother rather than joining Brooklyn at the party.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, she made it clear that she was devastated about missing the glamorous occasion with the Beckhams. She posted, “Happy birthday to my beautiful mil @victoriabeckham I’m so sad I’m not there to celebrate you and hug you! Sending all my love from me and my naunni [white love heart emoji] I miss you all so much! “.
Nicola was affectionately referring to her cherished grandmother Gina as “naunni”. When she walked down the aisle with Brooklyn in 2022, Gina assumed the role of her Maid of Honour, reports the Mirror.
Although she had to skip the party, Nicola still wrote a heartfelt post on VB’s big day, last Wednesday (April 17). She shared a sweet snap alongside Posh, captioning it: “Happy birthday to my beautiful mil @victoriabeckham I love you so much and love being your dance partner forever.”
The star-studded bash saw the likes of Tom Cruise and Jason Statham mingling with Posh’s former Spice Girls pals, culinary king Gordon Ramsay and his missus Tana, Desperate Housewives’ Eva Longoria, and catwalk queen Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. David Beckham didn’t hold back on the love for his missus as she hit the big 5-0.
Gushing over her, he wrote: “Happy Birthday to my beautiful wife. As you head into this birthday you should look back and be proud of what you have accomplished, achieved and what you have built, Posh Spice, business woman and of course marrying an England captain.”
The bash went from glam to epic when the Spice Girls reunited on stage for a rare performance with all members. It was a proper throwback moment with Geri, Emma, Mel C, Victoria, and Mel B busting out those legendary moves, while David Beckham played cameraman, capturing the nostalgia-packed performance for the gram.
Using eight heart emojis in the caption, he wrote in the caption: “I mean come on x @victoriabeckham @melaniecmusic @officialmelb @emmaleebunton @gerihalliwellhorner.”
This was a hit with fans who flocked to comment, as one remarked: “David you are the best social media manager out there, thank you for giving the people CONTENT.” Another chimed in: “The moment the entire planet has been waiting for.”
A third added: “I am crying cause David’s the groupie here.”
