Frankie Bridge said there’s one fashion staple that she “lives in” for the school run and has been wearing on repeat – a pair of high-waisted leggings.
The 35-year-old listened to her fans and posted a new “Frankie’s faves” video showing nine different school-run looks, saying that her general rule is wearing a pair of black leggings. She mentioned that go-to pair is from TALA, at £59.
Frankie shared a post to Instagram on Sunday, with the caption: “Usually the school run for me consists of running late, forgetting things and feeling like I need to be more organised. You’ll spot Carter and Wayne in this video… it’s giving the chaos of the school run. Silly me decided to film it once everyone was back from school.

“As a general rule I LIVE in leggings on the school run, so I had to include in some of the looks. I’ve had a bit of fun with it and catered to not just what I would go for, but for other mums I know and the styles they wear. Yes, there is one look with some low heels… those mums I see you and you’re an inspiration.”

Frankie said: “Another one of my mornings go-tos! Chuck it on, get the school run done and if you’re feeling extra productive…workout after! As someone who tends to live in black leggings, this dark blue shade is becoming a new fave so I feel like I’m mixing it up a lot!”
She donned a pair of Harlow Seamless Leggings in shade ‘blueberry’ from 4th ARQ, £45, but you can get cheaper ones from fitness brand My Protein – which have been reduced from £30 to £8.99.
Fan-favourite brand Adanola’s Ultimate Leggings are also popular and these cost £39.99.
She also wore a denim-blue bomber jacket from the same brand but this oversized Topshop style gives you a similar look for less. The Acid Wash Cotton Bomber Jacket is on sale for £31.55.
The ‘Off Duty’ mum look
Black leggings and a top is a winning combo, not to mention comfy, flattering and easy to accessorise.
Frankie’s ‘live-in’ black leggings are the TALA £59 DayFlex Wrap High Waisted Leggings. They have a V-shaped waistband for a slimming look, while the sweetheart contouring and ‘no side seam’ design gives you an “airbrushed, naked-feel”.
She paired her leggings with an oversized jacket from H&M, £44.99, which is long enough to keep you warm on chilly mornings.
As for her arm candy, she opted for Dune’s Deliberate Woven Shoulder Bag, £95. She said: “Love this bag! It’s spacious enough for day to day but would also transition into a great evening bag! Plus, it’s black so goes with anything!”
But shoppers can also get a slouchy version from Amazon. The Liuduo woven shoulder bag, which is available in four colours, comes in a smaller hobo shape that can be adjusted to different lengths. It’s priced at £17.99.
