One Netflix series has left a lasting impression on many streamers.
Over in the Netflix Bangers group on Facebook, someone posted a promo picture for the TV show and said: “This is the best show that I’ve ever seen in my entire 44 years of life. If you can’t sit down and watch it and give it all your concentration and attention, then don’t even bother because you will be completely lost half way through.” Despite the warning, they “promised” viewers “will be in awe by the end”.

One person in the comment section wrote: “Amazing show, but even if you give it your full concentration it will send your brain into a meltdown. I had to stop watching it for a week or two to try and process it and rewatch quite a few episodes. But it’s so good, once you get your head around it. Everyone should watch it.”
Someone else said that the show is “epic” and that they “often think about it” while another person commented: “Yes. Best, most creative show I’ve ever seen. Love how they had a three cycle (season) plan right from the start and stuck to it. And it’s a must watch in the original German with subtitles. The acting is top notch. So much is lost with the dubbing […]”
Another keen Netflix viewer said that Dark is their “favourite series ever” and they have discovered that “not everyone has the capacity to digest this show or understand it”. However, one person didn’t get along with the Netflix show and wrote: “I tried watching it but I felt the first episode was very disturbing as a mom. I couldn’t go on. Does it get better or does it stay disturbing like the first episode?” Many Facebook users urged her to continue with the series and one person claimed she “will be fine”.
Dark is a German science fiction thriller series that ran for three seasons from 2017 to 2020. The story takes place in a fictional town as the residents try and uncover the truth about one child’s disappearance.
After following connections made between four families, a time travel conspiracy is unveiled. In 2021, the BBC ranked Dark as the 58th greatest TV series of the 21st century.
