Josie Gibson told off her co-star Ben Shephard when he teased her about her rumoured romance with Stephen Mulhern.
This Morning host Josie has revealed she is single and ready to mingle, inspired by her pal Alison Hammond who’s all loved-up with her younger beau, Russian masseur David Putman. And on Wednesday she presented a camping feature on the ITV daytime show.
But Ben Shephard couldn’t resist poking fun at those pesky romance rumours once more. There was Josie, looking glam next to a tent, about to spill the beans on the top gear for a nature escape.

But Ben’s eyes were on something else. He’d spotted a mannequin chilling by Josie’s side.

“What’s that over your right shoulder? “, he asked. Quick-witted Josie played along, jokingly calling the dummy her latest squeeze, reports the Mirror.
“That’s my new boyfriend. He’s got more personality than the last.”
Ben cheekily joked:: “Don’t tell Stephen Mulhern, he’ll be furious”, which had Josie call him out for misbehaving. Laughing, she replied: “you two are so naughty!”.

It comes after Ben teased Stephen about his connection with Josie on Monday’s show. Stephen had viewers in stitches as he played with bubble wrap live on air, declaring “I’m having the time of my life”.
And Ben Shephard hinted at Stephen’s rumoured romance with fellow presenter Josie: “Is that because he’s dating one of the family? Is that what it is? “.
Stephen wasn’t having any of it, hitting back: “Oh shut your face! “, but the banter didn’t stop there. Cat Deeley joined in the fun, teasing: “We couldn’t let you go without… Josie”.

Ben added fuel to the fire when he referred to the snap of the pair holding hands backstage on the set of ITV’s Saturday Night Takeaway. He quipped: “The picture says it all.”
Trying to quash the gossip once and for all, Stephen clarified: “Listen, she didn’t show up to rehearsals, I held her hand and I showed her where to stand. That is it! ” And Josie has also shut down the rumourss, maintaining that Stephen is just a pal.
