Katie Price set to move into caravan – despite insisting she wouldn’t be evicted

Katie Price is reportedly moving into a caravan after being evicted from her Mucky Mansion, according to sources.

The former TV personality, who confirmed she was declared bankrupt for the second time this spring, was dealt another huge blow last week. The 45-year-old was served an eviction notice and ordered to leave her home in Horsham.

Now, insiders close to the mum-of-five claim she will dramatically downsize while she searches for a rented property with her boyfriend JJ Slater. The source told The Sun: “Katie is planning to live in a static caravan after being kicked out and has already been looking for one.

“The idea is to live with JJ eventually but while they search for a rented property, she’s been left with no choice – a caravan really is her only option right now.” A notice was reportedly pinned to a fence outside her 8,000 square foot, nine bed mansion.

The letter, seen by The Sun, reads: “The court has issued a warrant or writ for the possession of the above property (land) at the request of the claimant. A warrant gives a country court bailiff the authority to evict you and hand over possession to the claimant.”

The notice, which was allegedly issued on April 24, reportedly states all occupants of the house will be evicted at 10a, on May 29. It also warns them to leave the property with their belongings by that date.

However, her spokesperson has hit back at claims that Katie will lose her sprawling mansion. They told the outlet: “Kate will not be evicted from her property on 29th May.”

The Celebrity Big Brother winner was first declared bankrupt back in 2019 over unpaid debts upwards of £3.2million. She was declared bankrupt for a second time in March following an unpaid tax bill of £761,994.05.

The demand for payment was made by HMRC last October. She was due to give evidence about her finances at the High Court last month.

However, the podcast host failed to turn up, instead jetting off to Cyprus on holiday with her Married At First Sight star. Katie has since slammed claims she was on holiday and has insisted she is taking her financial situation seriously.

During the latest episode of The Katie Price Show podcast, she said: “When I say I am not mentally able and stable to go into court at the moment, because I have a lot of things behind the scenes I am dealing with.

“I am taking the bankruptcy seriously. It’s not like I have jetted off on a b****y five-star holiday.” The raven-haired beauty then added how her friend had travelled to the same hotel just one week earlier and asked if staff would “look after” her.

She went on: “Then when I came here they upgraded me for nothing, that was it. This holiday was actually a really cheap holiday.”
