Netflix fans have been left stunned by one “absolutely brilliant” series on the streaming platform.
Over in the Netflix Bangers group on Facebook, one person asked for “honest reviews” of Mindhunter and fans did not disappoint. Someone branded the show “mind blowing” while someone else wrote: “Absolutely brilliant, great show if you are into true crime/serial killers/psychology you’ll enjoy it. Britton’s portrayal of Kemper is amazing! Gutted they didn’t do more [sad face].”
One Netflix user even said the series is “up there with the best” while another person gushed: “[One] of the best things I’ve seen ever!” Multiple people called Mindhunter “fantastic,” “so good” and “10/10” as one comment simply read: “Remarkable [clapping emoji].”

Mindhunter is a psychological crime thriller series based on the 1995 true crime book Mindhunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit by John E. Douglas and Mark Olshaker. It was first aired back in 2017 and has two seasons, which have received huge praise from Netflix viewers.
Hollywood star Charlize Theron and director David Fincher executive produced the show and Johnathan Groff, Holt McCallany and Anna Torv star in the series. The show follows two agents working for the Federal Bureau of Investigation during the 1970s.
Groff won a Satellite Award for Best Actor in a Drama/Genre Series back in 2018 and the show itself has been nominated for a number of awards, including Saturn Awards, Primetime Emmy Awards and Writers Guild of America Awards. In recent Netflix news, the streaming platform has recently come under fire for showing a fully erect penis during one full frontal scene.
A Man In Full is a six part series and during one on-screen moment actor Tom Pelphrey drops a bedsheet to expose his penis, which is shown in full glory to Netflix viewers. Many streamers took to social media to call out the platform over the move.
Spectator writer Mary Killen quipped: “I don’t want to see graphic sexual images when I’m watching a drama. There is too much already and it is reducing us to no better than barnyard animals.” Safe Schools Alliance’s Tanya Carter also said: “Yet again we are questioning why the government is failing to act on this multi-fronted assault on childhood.”
