Dead Coronation Street legend ‘still alive’ as star spots actress on set during filming

One ‘dead’ Coronation Street legend is still alive in a shock move as she was spotted on the cobbles during filming.

Michelle Keegan’s character Tina McIntyre was killed off ten years ago, pushed off the balcony over the builder’s yard by killer Rob Donovan after six years in her iconic role. With storylines including her dad Joe’s death after a faked drowning gone wrong and acting as a surrogate for Gary Windass and Izzy Armstrong, Tina soon became a firm fan-favourite.

Now actress Michelle Keegan has been spotted on set by another Corrie star – after the long whodunnit spanning her murder. Suspects including Carla Connor, Peter Barlow and Tracy Barlow were all in the frame as Tina planned to elope with Peter – who was still married to Carla at the time.

But everything went wrong when she threatened to expose Rob’s dodgy dealings and reveal her own affair – with Rob later dumping her unceremoniously over the railings to the road below. He even bludgeoned her over the head to ensure the job was done properly.

Now, though, there could be a twist in store, as Michelle Keegan has been spotted by actor Callum Lill, who plays Dee-Dee Bailey’s boyfriend Joel Deering. In a new clip posted to his Instagram, Joel could be seen siting on set at Weatherfield General in his usual blue suit.

He overlaid the caption: “Tina’s alive?” on his video, and could be seen picking up a copy of New! magazine that was left out on the set table as a prop – with Michelle Keegan gracing the front cover. The star pulled a shocked expression over the real-life drama unfolding in front of him.

Callum captioned his clip: “Couldn’t believe what I saw at Weatherfield General the other day. Sometimes I feel like I’m in the Truman Show. Or some kind of show anyway.”

Fans rushed to the comments section to chime in with speculation of their own, with one writing: “Hahaha this is excellent. New mind-blowing storyline?” Someone else agreed: “This is brilliant haha!”

Other fans were keen to let Callum know what they think of his current character Joel, with one gushing: “Joel has to be my soap crush.” Another penned: “Joel is a welcome addition to Coronation Street. He is bright, kind, sensitive and caring. Dee-Dee and Joel really have an authentic relationship that fans can cheer for.”

But all might not be as it seems – as fans are worried Joel might be the one who killed or kidnapped Lauren Bolton. He was spotted with a receipt from a jewellers – with Roy later revealing Lauren’s boyfriend bought her an expensive necklace just before she went missing, with blood found in her flat.

Fans now think Joel could have been abusing Lauren and decided to kill her to keep her quiet – or could his big purchase be a simple misunderstanding?
