Adele’s confronts homophobic heckler at gig as she says ‘don’t be so f****** ridiculous’

Adele claps back at homophobic audience member who yelled “Pride sucks” at her Las Vegas concert.

The mega-star, who is a vocal advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, was mid-set during her ‘Weekends with Adele’ residency at Caesars Palace’s Colosseum when she had to step in and put the person in their place.

In her trademark no-nonsense style, she fired back: “Are you f****** stupid? Don’t be so f****** ridiculous. If you have nothing nice to say, shut up, all right? “.

Adele has always been supportive of Pride. The ‘Hello’ singer has received countless letters from fans, stating that her music helped them come out. Discussing it with Out magazine, she explained: “I get a lot of mail from people who tell me that I make them really happy to be themselves, and really comfortable with who they are, which I love.”

Famously, Adele also acted as minister when her chum, comedian Alan Carr, tied the knot, and is frequently spotted enjoying moments out at gay bars. Not only did she officiate their marriage, but she also paid for the whole thing and planned it all too.

Speaking on The One Show, Alan said: “We’ve known her for ages, and when we told her we were getting married she said, ‘Can I please plan the whole day for you?’

He continued to gush: “It was amazing. Adele organised it in her back garden in LA – it was absolutely gorgeous and she paid for it all. I tried to give her some money and she said, ‘My treat ahahahaha’. She’s just adorable. She’s the sweetest person.”
