Loose Women fans go wild as Stacey Solomon ‘wipes the floor’ with Denise Welch

Stacey Solomon fans were overcome with joy as their telly-favourite was back on Loose Women.

The 34-year-old TV star has been missing from the panel for quite some time and was certainly missed by her online following. However, it wasn’t just her comeback that sparked an internet frenzy.

Instead, viewers took to Twitter – formerly known as X – to hail Joe Swash’s wife as she went head-to-head with her outspoken co-star Denise Welch on two occasions. Firstly, they disagreed over Donald Trump with Stacey receiving a large clap from the audience as she shot back: “Why is the focus on his wife [Melania Trump] it should be about him and his disgraceful acts.”

A second row broke out between Denise and Stacey when they completely disagreed over “men working from home”. The Tap To Tidy founder had fumed that for working family’s being able to do their jobs remotely had made life easier.

Denise, however had other views. Stating that she felt there just weren’t enough staff available now because everyone is working from home. She said “this country is collapsing”.

Stacey seemed to be angry with her opinion as she clapped back: “What so you think that the reason we don’t have the staff is because people are working from home?

Stacey and Denise didn’t see eye-to-eye

The Channel 4 star added: “So it has nothing to do with the fact that a nurse is grafting hard on a zero hours contract, struggling to pay childcare. No wonder people aren’t signing up to do these jobs, they just aren’t paid enough to do them.”

There was an outpour for Stacey in the ITV studio as she finished speaking, she was met with a similar response online too as viewers heaped support.

Stacey was hailed by fans for her views on the subject matter

One person said: “I’ve missed stacey @StaceySolomon #loosewomen.” Another added: “Stacey absolutely wiping the floor with Densy #LooseWomen.”

A third comment read: “Densy’s nipping to the dressing room to vent her anger at being out manoeuvred…#LooseWomen. A fourth person wrote: “#loosewomen This should be renamed the Stacey and Denise show. They love the sound of their own voices.”

Others chimed in with: “What a shame Stacey is stepping back from TV, she’s the only redeeming feature of #LooseWomen,” and “I don’t usually watched #loosewomen but today I am, I totally agree with Stacey Solomon…”
