Love Island boy sparks concern among ITV2 viewers as he goes ‘missing’ from villa

Fans of Love Island have been left concerned as one boy appeared to be “missing” from the villa.

The hit dating show returned for another instalment on Friday (June 7) and things were heated as soon as the show began. As the tension seemed to rise in the villa with Harriet Blackmore and Ciaran Davies, the focus appeared to be on them.

But fans seemed to notice that Munveer Jabbal was nowhere to be seen. Sharing their worries, viewers headed straight over to X. One social media user who was concerned for his welfare asked: “Where is Munveer?”

A third chimed: “All Munveer has brought to the villa is his face card… I haven’t even seen his face onscreen once this episode?”

A fourth added: “Is Munveer still in there? I really liked him on day one but where’s he been since then?”

Meanwhile a fourth asked: “Is Munveer missing???? like are they keeping him in a secret room he’s not in any of the shots.”

Fans also felt Munveer should get grafting and thought maybe Mimii should still explore a connection with him. Munveer is currently partnered with Mimii but previously expressed an interest in Ayo.

But as the recoupling loomed fans begged Mimii and Munveer to make something work. One fan wrote: “Munveer and Mimii this a sign to locate each other please.”

Another penned: “Does Munveer know he’s on #loveisland? Mimii needs to be friends with him again cause if Uma picks Ayo, I need my girl to be safe.”

And a third echoed: “Munveer and Mimii need to get together or something because why are they the only two not grafting?”

Munveer previously revealed that he plans to keep things relatively PG in the villa. Talking to news outlets, the 29-year-old shared that he wants to ensure things are respectful.

He said: “I’m going to be very respectful…. Obviously representing the South Asian community, that goes against everything we stand for. So, I’m going to be keeping it PG for sure.”
