EastEnders star Lorraine Stanley looks totally different after dropping five stone.
The actress is best known for playing Karen Taylor on the BBC One soap. Karen rocked up back in 2017 with her children Keanu (Danny Walters), Keegan Baker (Zack Morris) and Bernadette (Clair Norris).
And it didn’t take long before the family became embroiled in several dramatic storylines. From topics of domestic abuse, poverty and racial profiling, their time in Walford was not short of drama.

However, in July last year, it was confirmed that Lorraine was leaving the soap after six years. And in 2023, the character said her goodbyes following the disappearance of her son Keanu.
But in recent years, actress Lorraine has undergone a major weight loss transformation – dropping an impressive five stone. And according to the soap star, she has one person to thank.
Speaking on ITV’s Lorraine, she said: “I’ve lost 12lbs in six weeks. My mate Louisa is my fitness guru, I’ve got her to thank for it. She talks about nutrition.”
She then shared how she’s able to shift the pounds as she consumes a lot of protein. Lorraine added: “I’ve eaten a lot of boiled eggs, fish, chicken. No carbs, no crisps and chocolate.”
But while her weight loss journey was a challenge, Lorraine admitted: “I’m enjoying it and I feel better for it.” Just recently, the actress shared a slew of snaps from a recent holiday – showing off her amazing weight loss.
Taking to her Instagram on Sunday (June 9), Lorraine posed up a storm around Split taking in the sights and sea, dressed in a green vest and denim shorts. Fans rushed to the comments section to dish out the compliments. One person said: “You look bloody amazing girl.”
Someone else added: “You’re looking so different these days, keep it up.” A third wrote: “Beautiful photos.”
Last year, it was confirmed that Karen would be written out of EastEnders. Talking about how she felt when she heard the news, Lorraine said: “I was sad, it was a mix of emotions, it’s sad but it’s exciting as now I can go and do what I want.
“You can get a bit relaxed there and a bit comfortable. So I want to be out of my comfort zone,” the soap star added to The Sun.
