The Chase’s Bradley Walsh cuts player off as he demands ‘stop it immediately’

The Chase’s Bradley Walsh was left demanding a player to “stop it” during the latest episode.

The hit ITV gameshow was back on TV screens on Tuesday (June 11) as telly legend Bradley Walsh welcomed four new quizzers. As fans tuned in, he introduced contestants Joe, Liz, Jack and Sheryl before they battled it out to take home the all-important cash prize.

This week the quartet were up against Paul Sinha, also known as The Sinnerman who made sure to bring his A-game against the wise quizzers. But things took an awkward turn during Jack’s turn.

After his cash-builder, player Jack was given a high cash offer of £40,000. He considered taking the offer but said to Bradley: “I’m a bit of a square, so I’ll go for the eight [thousand pounds]”.

Bradley was quick to shut the player down

Stumped, Corrie star Bradley asked what he meant. He said: “Did you say you’re a bit of a square? What’s that got to do with it?”

Jack explained: “I’m a square, just a bit of a loser…” before Bradley cut him off to tell him off. Bradley told him: “No you’re not at all! That’s got to stop immediately Jack!”

Bradley was left baffled

Jack then cracked on with his head-to-head against The Chaser – and it appeared it was his lucky day as he managed to make it back, bagging £8,000 and a spot in the Final Chase.

The rest of the team followed suit, meaning for the Final Chase, it was a full house against Paul. And after a tense final round, the foursome managed to get 20 questions correct.

Bradley reassured the player

But it seemed Paul was on top form, as he managed to beat their score. Fans were quick to react to his win on X, formerly known as Twitter. One person said: “Great team beaten by a good performance by Paul.”

A second penned: “A Full House playing for £25K setting a target of 20, Paul getting 20/21, an all round top edition of The Chase.” A third wrote: “Nice try team but Paul was just on form today.”
