Ghosts are haunting the Download Festival site it can be revealed – and they love getting their groove on to Busted.
Spooky spirits believed to be linked to Georgian aristocrats are thought to be hiding out at the Donington Park site waiting for the Southend-on-Sea pop-punk rockers who took to the stage on Friday (June 14).
Ghost-hunting rocker, Brocarde, 40, was called in by festival organisers to carry a paranormal investigation before acts hit the Avalanche Stage at the Leicestershire site this weekend.

And the Oxfordshire-based performer reckons she “struck gold” when she detected a number of spirits from the 18th century hanging around the site.
She told us: “I was excited to do a ghost hunt at Download Festival, the site has a huge amount of history, from rock music, to motor racing,
“I picked up on two ghosts from the Georgian era who used to live near the site.
“One a man, named George, a pompous fox-hunting fanatic who was surely lingering around to mosh to Busted.
“He kept parading in front of the stage on horseback with his pack of angry hounds.
“The other, his wife ‘The woman in White’ in her long 18th century gown seemed slightly more disgruntled, perhaps she’s concerned that her regalia will get trashed in the pit, she certainly wasn’t dressed to rock.
“It will be amazing if anyone else spots them.”
Donington Park has a 40-year plus history as the home of heavy metal and annually hosts Download – the second largest music festival in the UK after Glastonbury.
