Netflix’s most ‘sensually erotic’ film has fans begging people to watch racy flick

Netflix fans are urging streamers to watch one seriously raunchy film compared to Fifty Shades of Grey.

Over in the Netflix Bangers group on Facebook, someone asked if it was “worth it” to watch 365 days. Streamers flocked to urge them to give it a go as someone wrote: “If you are into sensually romantic/erotic, yes!”

Another person added: “If you enjoyed Fifty Shades [of Grey] then you are gonna love it.” A third fan said that they “liked the movies” while another person quipped that they are “not bad”.

The romantic thriller was released back in 2020 and the official Netflix description reads: “A woman falls victim to a dominant mafia boss who imprisons her and gives her one year to fall in love with him.” The film is based on the first novel of a book trilogy written by Blanka Lipińska and follows a woman from Warsaw.

365 Days is an “erotic” film on Netflix

Her captor, a Sicilian man played by Michele Morrone, keeps her trapped for a year in an effort to form a romance. It was released in cinemas in February 2020 and added to Netflix later that year.

Its raunchy nature sparked a lot of conversation surrounding the project and became one of the streaming platform’s most watched additions for a period of time. It also had one of the longest runs of staying as the most watched.

Netflix streamers urged people to watch the movie

Although popular, the film was slammed by some critics for the graphic nature and depictions of sexual violence, as well as glorifying the Mafia. Many have compared it to the Fifty Shades franchise and it is reportedly considered to be one of the “worst films of all time”.

365 Days: This Day, a sequel to the sexual flick, was later released on Netflix back in April 2022 and is based on the second book in the series. After this, The Next 365 Days was released in August that same year.

The films are based on a book trilogy

Elsewhere in Netflix news, Francesca Bridgerton has been “confirmed” as gay in a gender-swapped role in Bridgerton, which also sparked a same sex romance. The season three storyline has thrown the whole show into chaos as Francesca’s love interest is replaced with a woman named Michaela.
