Love Island star Nicole Samuel seems “unrecognisable” after old pics of the reality star resurfaced.
The Welsh model, 24, is living it up in the Majorca villa on the ITV dating titan, and is currently coupled with Ciaran Davies. The pair have been cracking on together, but things got tense when he revealed that he would have kissed Grace Jackson in a game of beer pong, leading to awkward scenes.
But as the pair continue to work and build on their relationship, eagle-eyed fans have been getting to work finding snaps of the star before she went into the villa. Now, viewers have been left shocked as the 24-year-old celebrated her 18th birthday party in photos that been unearthed.

In the happy snaps of the celebration from 2018, Nicole is completely unrecognisable as she ditched her platinum blonde locks for a jet-black tone. Sporting a low-cut black dress and a golden choker necklace, Samuel is worlds away from the person fans are seeing on the show.

The pics show the model donning a pink sash with the crude words “18 and legal” sprawled across it, as she pouted for the camera. A second snap saw her pull the same face as she sat at a restaurant booth together with a pal as they celebrated the girl’s 18th birthday.
Uploading the pics to her Facebook page, Nicole’s mum said that the family “had a ball” to welcome her into adulthood. The night was a huge success in Cardiff as the family indulged the future Islander, making her the centre of attention.
This revelation comes after Nicole’s former beau was revealed to be a well-known rugby player, with many fans making comparisons to her current coupling to Ciaran. Samuel was linked to hunk Paddy McBridge, who many have seen to be a carbon copy of her Love Island babe.

Nicole and Paddy dated two years ago during the course of the COVID-19 lockdowns, but eventually called time on their relationship – though the reasons for the split have not been made public. An insider close to the pair told the Sun: “They were a big part of each other’s family and it was pretty serious for a while, but things didn’t work out between them; Paddy has since moved on and recently had a baby.”
It comes amid growing tensions between Nicole and Ciaran during their short stay in the show, as the couple got together before Davies was seen cracking on with Harriett Blackmore. When she discovered that the pair had necked on in bed, Nicole fumed to fellow Islander Jess about breaking the girl code.

“She just pulled me and said ‘Be honest with me, be honest with me’,” she exclaimed. “Didn’t even f***ing tell me Jess, that he kissed her last night in bed. She can f*** off. So can he.”
