The Chase’s Jenny Ryan’s shares ‘fat-shaming’ ordeal as she opens up on transformation

The Chase’s Jenny Ryan was insulted during a “fat-shaming” during a routine phone GP consultation.

Known for her formidable quiz skills on the hit ITV show, the 42-year-old shared her outraged reaction to the incident in a string of posts on social. Sarcastically remarking on X, Jenny aka The Vixen stated: “Isn’t modern life great? ” Before adding that doctors can now demean overweight people over the phone.

She continued: “Your GP can now fat-shame you over the phone, so you don’t have to waste time travelling and sitting in a waiting room before being made to feel awful about your own existence!” The TV icon then continued to recall the conversation with her doctor, who asked her if she knew her current weight.

While sharing these unsettling events, an offensive comment made by an online troll came to light. The offensive user labelled Jenny as a “fat b****.”

Reacting sharply, a representative from Jenny’s team replied: “Hi, thanks for getting in touch. Messages to this page are monitored by Jenny’s admin team.

“We can pass on messages or answer questions. Thank you for your message. You seem like a decent chap which obviously gives you the right to body shame and demean women. Your loved ones must be really proud of you!”
