When will Love Island 2024 end? Fans speculate as drama unfolds in season 11

Love Island 2024 may feel like it’s only just kicked off, but fans are already speculating about the finale date.

The show’s host, Maya Jama, introduced ITV2 viewers to the original cast of season 11’s Love Island at the start of the month, with bombshells causing quite a stir.

This season features a mix of personalities, from The Only Way Is Essex legend Joey Essex to former Love Islander Olivia Attwood’s mate Ronnie Vint, promising an unforgettable series. Several re-couplings have taken place, and while some couples appear smitten, most contestants are still on the hunt for that special spark. Despite the nightly drama, viewers are eager to know when the grand finale will air, reports the Express.

When is the Love Island final?

ITV2 has yet to announce the exact date for the Love Island season 11 finale. However, based on previous seasons, we can make an educated guess.

Typically, Love Island runs for eight weeks, so it’s likely that the 2024 series will follow suit. Last year, Sammy Root and Jess Harding were crowned winners on July 31, after their series began on June 5.

The previous year saw Ekin-Su Culcuoglu and Davide Sanclimenti take the title on August 1, with their season starting eight weeks earlier on June 6. With this in mind, it seems likely that the Love Island season 11 finale will air on Monday, July 29.

The suspense is building up, as the final episode’s release date of the current season of Love Island is yet to be officially confirmed.

In the recent drama-packed episode of Love Island this week, it was revealed who the public’s favourite couples were. Those pairs not featuring in the favourite list found themselves in a real pickle as the spared contestants had the task to evict one male and one female from the island.

Post some contemplation, the chosen ones decided that Tiffany’s time on the island is up, due to the uncertainty about her interest among the group. Oddly enough, Omar was escorted off the island next. He was just starting to connect with newcomer Matilda.

Sean, competing with Omar for Matilda’s attention, believed his chances would improve if Omar was “out of the equation”, resulting in the latter’s ousting.
