Paul Hollywood’s dough rising as his staggering earnings are revealed

Paul Hollywood is thought to be one of the highest-paid stars on TV after pocketing a whopping £14 million in 2023.

The chef, 58, has become a huge star thanks to his role as a judge on the Great British Bake Off. And it seems it is really paying off, with the Mirror reporting that he made an eye-watering £14,146,703 in the last year alone.

The hefty sum works out at more than a million a month, suggesting Paul isn’t likely to go short of anything any time soon.

Accounts for HJP Media LLP, the firm that deals with Paul’s TV pay, reportedly revealed that 2023 was his best year yet financially. The company made a profit of £9,873,200 and had additional assets worth more than £4 million. The Mirror said the celeb baker took home his big pay packet by giving himself the sum in dividends.

Paul has been a judge on Bake Off since back in 2010 and also has other strings to his bow that have contributed to his earnings over the years. This includes his own cooking shows, like Paul Hollywood Eats Mexico and Paul Hollywood Eats Japan.

The TV star has also had a bakeware range which has helped to boost his coffers. Plus he has penned several popular cookbooks.

But Paul has previously revealed that fame has had a big impact on him. Speaking to The Times in 2022, he admitted that he now finds it difficult to trust people.

“I’m really wary of who gets close and I never used to be like that,” he said. “In fact, I’m a hermit, whereas I used to be the life and soul of the party. I was always first down the bowling alley. But now quite often someone suggests going out and I’ll say, ‘Yeah, I’ll be there,’ and I don’t go.”

He went on: “There is no school that tells you how to deal with being in the public eye. And however much you think you’re not going to change, it’s impossible to stay the same.” “I defy anyone to do it,” added the baker.
