Jodie Comer appears to be having a ball on the set of 28 Years Later.
The star of Killing Eve and Doctor Foster has been seen laughing and running around while filming scenes for the upcoming movie.
The 31-year-old actress is part of the cast of this post-apocalyptic film, believed to be a sequel to 28 Days Later (2002) and 28 Weeks Later (2007). The forthcoming project will also feature Cillian Murphy from the first film, as well as Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

Currently, filming is taking place in Northumberland. Jodie was recently spotted playing her seemingly pregnant character following the announcement of her casting.
Newly released photos show Jodie working on another scene for the film, directed by Danny Boyle, who also worked on the first instalment of the franchise. Onlookers reported that she couldn’t contain her laughter as some cast members walked past apparently naked between takes.
In the photos, Jodie is seen wearing what looks like a floral dress under layers of clothing, including a dark coat. She’s wearing brown shoes in the scenes, and her outfit matches what she was seen wearing in previously released photos.
She was spotted alongside a younger co-star, whose character seems to wield a bow and arrow in the film. He’s seen wearing a green jacket and dark trousers, as well as carrying a backpack filled with arrows.
Snaps from the set reveal other cast members portraying naked characters smeared in what looks like blood and grime, wandering through grassy fields. The series is known for its gritty take on the aftermath of a societal collapse due to a virus.
Last month, Jodie opened up about her part in the flick, revealing she’s taking on a local accent for the role, inspired by none other than Cheryl during her X Factor days.
She spilled the beans to Elle magazine about working with a dialect coach and gushed over the film’s top-notch director Danny, who’s teaming up again with scriptwriter Alex Garland for the much-anticipated follow-up to 28 Days Later.
Chatting to the mag, Jodie enthused: “[He] just seems like such a confident, intuitive and intelligent director.”
She continued: “The original was so loved, so I’m trying not to think of that too hard. I’m not putting too much expectation on myself.”
Next year’s going to be a big one with the releaseof the new movie. The star-studded lineup for 28 Years Later also ropes in big names like Ralph Fiennes, Jack O’Connell, and Erin Kellyman.
