Ruth Langsford ‘to spill all’ on Eamonn Holmes split as TV return ‘confirmed’

Ruth Langsford is set to make a sensational return to TV next week.

The star is set to make a Loose Women return and it’s all eyes on her as she gears up to spill the tea about her split from hubby Eamonn Holmes. The telly fave, 64, has been off the radar since April, leaving fans in the dark after her marriage to the father-of-four came to an end.

Word on the street is that Ruth has kept quiet about the whole break-up drama, but now she reckons she ‘owes’ Loose Women fans the truth as she slides back into her seat on the panel.

“The audience has been there through the highs and the lows of her relationship, she has always been very open and honest and next week will be no different… she owes it to the viewers to say something.

“She will be surrounded by the people she’s closest to on the show and then will be drawing a line under it… she has no plans to do a big interview, this will be the one and only time she speaks.”

Following a distressing post on Instagram about his mobility issues, Eamonn Holmes revealed he’s finding it tough to walk. The GB News presenter communicated his concerns via a photo of himself, leaning against a doorway with a caption stating: “Hard to stand up, but next aim is to walk off to a birthday party today. What about you?”

Support poured in from Eamonn’s followers, with comments like: “You’re doing well Eamonn, keep it up xx” and advice such as “Keep moving Eamonn, as painful as it may be. Every little movement is of benefit.”

This worrying development comes after the TV veteran had been battling severe back pain, leading to his use of a high-tech wheelchair at the TRIC Awards. The star spoke candidly about feeling on “borrowed time”, referencing the loss of his father to a heart attack at age 65.

His health struggles closely follow the end of his long-standing marriage to Ruth Langsford. Holmes, one of telly’s stalwarts, has reportedly been relying on support from female friends since the news broke of the couple’s split, causing a stir in the entertainment world.

As per Best magazine, the star hopes to establish a bond with Ruth, in due course. When asked about the pair’s relationship status, he responded: “It’s too early to say, but I hope we can still be friends.”
