As the last of the Little Mix members drop their debut solo single – we take a look at the girls’ net worths.
The band, who were formed on X Factor in 2011, consisted of Jade Thirlwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards and Jesy Nelson, before Jesy quit the group in 2020.
The remaining ladies carried on as a three but announced they would be going on a hiatus after their arena tour in 2021. This week Jade has become the final member of the group to drop her first solo single titled ‘Angel Of My Dreams’ – which is a bop.
The singers have all been super successful, but how they’ve made their money certainly differs from member to member. Let’s take a look…
Jade Thirlwall
Jade, 31, has an estimated net worth of £18 million. Alongside the success of Little Mix, she owns a Arbeia Bar in her hometown of South Shields. She has also worked with big brands such as Skinnydip, Ellessee and Beauty Bay.
Brand and culture expert Nick Ede commented on their wealth to The Sun and said: “She has amassed a huge fortune due to her savvy social media posts and also appearances on show like Drag Race, and through her nightclub in South Shields.
“She has worked on brand collaborations and successfully cemented herself as a gay icon and ally.”
Leigh-Anne Pinnock
Leigh-Anne, 32, has an estimated net worth of £20 million. Since the split, she has dropped multiple songs of her own including tracks such as ‘Don’t Say Love’ and ‘My Love’.
The mum-of-two is said to have invested with her footballer beau Andre Gray in an old factory and turned it into flats in the Wolverhampton area. She also owns her own swimwear brand In a Seashell.
Leigh-Anne also turned her talents to film, as she produced and starred in Boxing Day. Her voice was also featured on the audible version of The Little Mermaid.
PR expert Nick added: “She has amassed a huge fortune as she has been very savvy in her spending. She has bought an old bicycle factory to convert into flats, has her own swimwear brand and signed a lucrative publishing deal with Sony. She’s also the only one of the band to have booked a solo tour which is a perfect way to connect with fans and make new ones.”
Perrie Edwards
Perrie, 31, has managed to rake in a net worth of £15 Million. The mum-of-one has created her own lifestyle brand, Disora, which has a gymwear range.
The singer has also worked with Superga and was the first female ambassador for Supreme Nutrition.
Nick commented: “She created the lifestyle brand, Disora, which is going from strength to strength and has managed to monetise her social media and amassed a fortune.
Jesy Nelson
Jesy, 33, reportedly has a net worth of £6 million. Her debut single ‘Boyz’ saw her embroiled in a ‘black-fishing’ storm and saw her leave her record deal with Polydor.
Her second single, Bad Thing, failed to enter the UK Top 100 chart, and plans for a third single were scrapped after an unpromising start.
However, Jesy saw huge success after filming her 2019 documentary Odd One Out which won a National Television Award. There are also talks about another documentary about her solo career.
Nick says: “She left the band to pursue a solo career which didn’t quite go to plan. She faced a few setbacks but she has made her money from being in the band and the residuals they received keeps her money topped up.”
