Bonkers horror with 9 directors Catnado so ‘goofy’ fans are demanding Oscar wins

A new horror about a tornado made of cats has exploded on the internet.

Wild Eye Releasing, an independent cinema house, has created Catnado and is preparing to unleash the furious furry flick onto the world.

The bizarre film’s wild description is as follows: “The world faces a horrific onslaught of tornadoes, each unleashing hordes of enraged and deadly cats upon humanity! As chaos reigns, a disparate group of individuals have one mission: to stop this feline fury.”

“But against such odds and with only one life to spare per person, their battle becomes a cat-astrophic struggle for survival and when the fur flies, it will be a meow-ssacre!” The film stars Erica Rowell Green, Joshua G Otto, Blair Kelly, Serena Salieri and Tucky Williams.

Over on X/Twitter, film fans are discussing the new movie and one person posted: “Well, I think we all know what is winning Best Picture this year #Catnado The forecast is clawful, Catnado is available on VOD & DVD October 22.”

“Just found out there’s a movie coming out called #Catnado and now I need to see it,” gushed one film buff as another typed: “It’s like Sharknado, but with cats,’ #Catnado is rumoured to be headed our way soon. The question is, with a total of nine directors behind the camera, will this film be ‘purfect’ and spawn another successful franchise? Either way, I’m keen!”

The wacky trailer shows humans in a world where cats have taken over as a voiceover explains that the furry balls of “joy and happiness” are actually blood-thirsty killers. Eventually the Catnado is shown – a large, twister-like cluster of felines swirling around and around as it rips through the city, causing havoc in its wake.

Catnado’s ridiculous premise and incredibly budget SFX will make for a definite must see movie upon its release in October this year. Fans on X/Twitter clearly can’t wait: “Oh, I will be SEATED for this goofy sh**!”

“A Catnado? YES. Pull me into the vortex and take me with you,” added another eager horror enjoyer. On Reddit, under the thread r/movies, someone even suggested a name change: “Purrican was right there.”
