Grab an Apple iPhone 15 for £271 cheaper than the big networks – here’s how you do it

Apple enthusiasts on the hunt for a bargain are in luck, as we’ve scoured the deals to find one with a significantly lower monthly cost. Ditching big names like Sky Mobile, Three, and O2 for a lesser-known provider could save you hundreds, as we found out.

This iD Mobile deal is a prime example, cutting the cost of the flagship iPhone to just £29.99 per month, making it £271 cheaper than its larger competitors. Take giffgaff, for instance, which offers it on a much longer 36-month plan with a hefty total price tag of £1,039.

Unlike the iD Mobile deal we spotted, giffgaff doesn’t throw in any data for that higher price. This is arguably what made the 24-month iD Mobile plan stand out, as customers will receive a whopping 100GB of data included in the deal – without any increase in cost.

Now priced at £29.99 per month, the plan will cost a total of £768, spread over a 24-month period. The only additional cost is a one-off upfront fee of £49, reports the Mirror.

Unusually, iD Mobile allows customers to spread the cost over two years, which is key to achieving this impressively low price. For example, Sky Mobile’s starting price of £23 might seem cheaper initially, but when you consider that this price doesn’t include any data and it’s a longer plan, it’ll end up costing customers thousands more – precisely £1,818 in total.

Sky is offering the iPhone 15 on a hefty three-year contract, with prices kicking off from £23. On the other hand, Three Mobile is dishing out the flagship model from £20 per month, totalling £745 for the gadget, but you’ll need to slap a data plan on top of that.

Offers for the iPhone 15 have been flooding in since whispers of Apple’s speculated new iPhone launch. Loyal fans will be familiar with this annual event around late August and early September.

The standout feature of the iPhone 15 range was its Dynamic Island. A novelty for Apple aficionados, this subtle touchscreen bar makes replying to messages and checking notifications a breeze.

Its shift to USB-C charging ports was also significant, a trend likely to persist with future models.

Alternatively, mobile buffs should eye rival Samsung and its latest Galaxy ZFlip6 and Galaxy ZFold6 devices, or Google’s Google Pixel 8 device, launching for £499 on Amazon, is another one to keep tabs on.
