Film fans have been left in streams of tears over one emotional flick.
On Facebook, someone started a discussion on the Netflix Bangers group and asked for reviews on A Man Called Otto, starring Tom Hanks. One person branded the film a “touching movie” while someone else said: “This was such a good movie. A tear-jerker in some places but lots of funny moments throughout. Highly recommend.”

Others said they “love” the flick and that it was a “wonderful movie,” that Hanks’ performance was “excellent,” that they thought the story was “excellent” and that it was a “brilliant” story. Someone else wrote: “I laughed and cried. I love this movie so much! Trigger warning though, some parts can be hard to watch.”

Another member of the group warned: “[O]ne of the best movies, loved it, get tissues, you will need them.” More people agreed that the plot “made them cry” and that the film is “worth the time”.

One person said that A Man Called Otto contains “trigger warning scenes” that viewers should be aware of,” as others explained that it is “heart-warming in places”. The comedy-drama was released back in 2022 and stars Hanks alongside his son Truman, who plays a younger version of his character Otto.
Rachel Keller, Mariana Treviño, Mack Bayda, Rita Wilson and Cameron Britton also appear in the moving flick based on the best-selling book A Man Called Ove. The plot of the film gives insight into Otto’s tragic story: “Devastated and lonely, a widower decides to take a drastics step. However, his plans are disrupted by a lively family that moves in next door.”

Elsewhere in Hanks family news, Tom’s son Chet has recently shared a selfie after admitted hi “got his forehead blasted with Botox”. He uploaded the picture to Instagram and added the hashtag #noshameinmygame.
He posed with his estheticians and proudly smiled while showing off the results. Tom Hanks and his wife Rita share their two sons Chet and Truman, while Tom shares Colin and Elizabeth with his ex-wife Samantha Lewes.
