TikTok sensation GK Barry has reportedly been lined up to appear on a huge ITV show.

It’s said the 25-year-old YouTube star is in “advanced” talks for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!. It means she could be swapping TikToks for Crocs to head Down Under and into the Jungle.

It’s not the only rumoured TV offer she’s had, either, so it seems the online star is set for a sparkling reality TV career – she’s already appeared on the panel of Loose Women. But how much do you know about her?

Daily Star has taken a closer look at GK Barry’s life.

Real name

Fans of GK Barry have been shocked to discover her real name. Her real name is actually Grace Eleanor Keeling, meaning the “Barry” part of her name is a made up.

She revealed the origins of her online moniker during a chat on Kiss FM. DJ Tatum McGreal asked her: “Is your surname actually Barry?”, to which Grace replied: “No it’s my best mate’s name. I’m a fake Barry.”

The star said her internet alter-ego causes lots of confusion. She added: “I know, all my f***king contracts are to Grace Barry and I thought if you guys ever try and sue me it’s not my name.”

She created the online name – using her initials and that of her pal’s – so people at her school couldn’t find her videos.

Relationship with famous football star

GK Barry is rumoured to be dating England football star Ella Rutherford. The Saving Grace podcast host hasn’t confirmed that it’s the Charlton Athletic forward but fans think they’ve worked it out as Ella posted Grace on her Instagram.

Grace said on her podcast that she was already “in love” with the footballer. She said: “I’m not gonna say who it is, but I’m gonna give her a nickname called eyelashes.

“So whenever I refer to lashes, I am talking about the love of my life. I’m in love. And yeah, it has been three weeks, but that’s fine. That’s absolutely fine. She came to me like a dream, and I was obsessed.

She also revealed that she was no longer interested in dating men, after splitting from her ex earlier this year. “I feel like I’ve been missing out,” she said. “I feel like I went very wrong with men. I don’t like men anymore. I will never go back to a man. God forbid. Yeah, I just love it. I just love it.

“I feel like I’ve got spring in my step. I feel like I’m glowing. It’s the lesbian glow. I’ve got it. And yeah, that’s my life update.”

Reality TV rumours

GK Barry has reportedly been lined up to appear on I’m A Celebrity after turning down an offer for Strictly Come Dancing. It’s said ITV bosses are keen to get her on board as she’s so popular with the younger generation.

They wouldn’t be wrong. She has 3.6m followers on TikTok and over 800k followers on Instagram.

An insider told The Sun on Sunday: “GK is hugely popular with the younger generation and is sharp and quick witted which would translate well to chats around the campfire with other celebs.”

They added “Producers think she has great energy and is highly entertaining. She has millions of social media followers, which is a top focus of ITV at the moment.”

It was reported that Grace decided ITV would be a better fit for her. A source told The Mirror: “Grace is savvy and knows this is a brilliant opportunity to become more of a household name.” They added: “She did have several meetings with Strictly, but ultimately decided it wasn’t the best fit and is keen to pursue her telly career with ITV.”

Last year, GK herself hinted she wanted to try out the Jungle. She joked: “I want them to put me in there when there’s a muscly man that can hold me in a hammock and until then, I’m not going in. I need a single man, a single strong muscly man.”
