Love Island star ‘robbed of £1million of belongings’ as he shares pics of ransacked home

Love Island’s Davide Sanclimenti has revealed his LA home was broken into and robbed.

The TV star, 29, said almost £1million worth of “precious and personal” items had been taken in the burglary at his home in Los Angeles. He opened up on his Instagram Story as he explained to fans why he had been so quiet on social media.

Sharing images of his empty shelves after the burglary, Davide said his belongings had been swiped “within six minutes”. However, the Italian star assured his followers that he was trying to stay positive despite what had happened.

Showing fans a ransacked cupboard, Davide said: “I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has displayed their concern and DMing me and asking why I have been quiet over socials. As you all know I’m living in LA atm.

Davide said his home was broken into

“Our home got broken into and was robbed of nearly $1.2m (£930,000) worth of precious and personal belongings gone within 6 minutes…”

He went on: “Just goes to show the saying is true, ‘the evil always target the pure-hearted’ but I’m trying to stay positive that the good people will always win in the end!”

Davide added: “I’m taking a few days to reset, change house and keep moving forward.”

The TV star found fame when he went on the reality show looking for love in 2022, and went on to win with his then partner Ekin-Su Culculoglu. They remained together after leaving the villa but briefly split up last year. While they patched things up for a bit, in January this year it emerged that the stars had called time on their romance and were going their separate ways.

Davide said he’d now be taking some time to ‘reset’

Ekin-Su said in a statement at the time: “Unfortunately, I have recently made the decision to end our relationship and to go our separate ways.” She went on: “Break ups are never easy for any couple, and we hope that our privacy will be respected at this time. I enjoyed our time together and will cherish the memories we made.”
