Emma Willis says ‘we wouldn’t still be married’ if husband Matt did one thing

Emma Willis has joked she “wouldn’t still be married” to husband Matt if he’d done what one of the Love Is Blind UK stars had done.

The married couple sat down with the couples from the show in the Love Is Blind UK Reunion. The special episode was added to Netflix on Monday night (August 26).

It saw them reunite the cast a year after the show was filmed. At the end of the series, fans saw Bobby and Jasmine, Steven and Sabrina, and Benaiah and Nicole get married.

And while two of the couples were still together, Emma confessed if hubby Matt had done what Benaiah had done to Nicole, they might not be going quite as strong in their 16-year marriage.

As they welcomed Benaiah and Nicole to the sofa, they showed a montage of their first year together as a couple in the real world. One segment showed Benaiah jumping out and scaring Nicole a number of times.

After, Matt asked his wife: “Can you imagine how it would’ve gone in our marriage if I’d jumped out at you like that?”

Emma bluntly responded: “We wouldn’t still be married.” However it was clearly tongue-in-cheek, as her answer got a roar of laughter from Matt and everyone in the studio.

That wasn’t the only shock of the episode though, as it was revealed Steven and Sabrina had gone their separate ways despite tying the knot on the show.

Later, controversial cast member Sam was brought out too. He had ended their time in the Pods by proposing to Nicole.

However they soon split up before the holiday with their co-stars, with Nicole instead reuniting with Benaiah. And it was clear she had picked the right man, as they are still going strong.

And in true Emma Willis fashion, the former Big Brother host quizzed Sam on some of his questionable behaviour from his time on the show.

At one point during a night out on the show, he told Benaiah that Nicole had come to his house and wanted to sleep with him. In the moment, Benaiah laughed it off.

And during the reunion, neither Emma nor Sam’s co-stars let him off. As he ran himself in circles trying to explain, Demi cut in and told him to just apologise to Nicole – which he finally did.
