Michael Jackson’s bedroom was filled with strange objects including a baby shrine.
Pictures from the singer’s house show the room Jackson spent his last moments in, which was covered in vials of drugs, pictures of children and even a blood-covered shirt in the wardrobe. In the book 83 Minutes: The Doctor, the Damage and the Shocking Death of Michael Jackson, authors Mark Langhorne and Matt Richard offer more details into the singer’s Los Angeles mansion.

“Tables were strewn with medical paraphernalia such as vials of drugs, syringes and tubes. Plastic bags scattered on tops of chairs and table tops contained latex gloves, creams and saline bags,” the writers explain. They also added that “various tubes of pills and tablets” were found.
One picture of Jackson’s room shows a wooden dresser with a large white sign hanging from the drawers. An image of an infant wearing a hat can be seen in the right corner, while the text “sweet baby” is written in a red font on the left.
Above the sign, large circular images of babies clutter the top of the unit underneath a large mirror framed in gold filigree. In a cupboard, a white collarless shirt covered in dried blood was hung on a rail using a white plastic hanger.
Another snap shows a bed covered in white sheets with a velvet pillow, a pair of glasses, a CD and a baby doll with blonde hair wearing a white shirt, brown dungarees and a pair of sandals. Reportedly, elsewhere in the room was an IV stand and a loose needle on the floor.
Det. Martinez explained the situation: “There was a computer on the bed, there was kind of, like, advertisements of pictures with babies. Everybody knew about the allegations that had been levelled against Mr Jackson over the years. One of the things, when I saw the laptop on the bed: ‘Do I go into it?’ But you have to realise the type of case I was investigating.”
Martinez also spoke about the room in Killing Michael Jackson and said there was a fire going, which is highly unusual during the height of L.A. summer, and he described the room as “very, very hot”.
The authors of 83 Minutes claimed that Michael’s room “smelled terribly” because the singer refused to allow anyone to clean the place. Jackson died on June 25 2009 after he was found unconscious in his bed by Dr Conrad Murray.
