Emmerdale viewers are convinced they’ve figured out who will bring down Caleb Miligan as he continues to cause chaos in the Dales.
Caleb (played by William Ash) is plotting to build a new empire in the village, aiming to overthrow Kim Tate (Claire King) and reclaim what he believes is his rightful legacy. He’s enlisted Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson), who thinks he’s in league with Caleb.
Despite investing a significant amount of money into the supposed new business venture, Jai is oblivious to Caleb’s self-serving intentions.
In addition to Jai, scheming Caleb also has plans to topple Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) by seizing control of his business, Home James haulage, which he co-owns with Jimmy King (Nick Miles).
Caleb resorted to sabotaging one of Home James’ trucks with red diesel before alerting HMRC. With the company’s future now uncertain, Caleb is preparing to take over, reports the Manchester Evening News.
However, this week, after a chat with an unsuspecting Jimmy – who is unaware of Caleb’s scheme – Caleb began to feel remorse. Jimmy shared his struggles following the incarceration of his daughter Angelica (Rebecca Bakes).
Believing Caleb to be a friend, Jimmy confided more in the cunning plotter, unaware of his true intentions or character. But as Caleb persists with his nefarious plan, fans are sure he’ll get his comeuppance.
Fans have been voicing their opinions loudly on social media, suggesting it could be Jimmy King who will bring Caleb down in Emmerdale. On a dedicated Facebook group, one viewer posted: “What horrible people Caleb and Ruby are poor Jimmy setting him up. It’s ok for Will he has money but Jimmy has a family and not a lot of money coming.”
Another added their two cents saying: “Ruby and Caleb will get their comeuppance, evil will not triumph over goodness and Jimmy is a gentle soul.”
Someone else speculated: “I have a feeling Jimmy will find out what he’s up to and out him.” Another fan suggested: “Maybe Jimmy finds out so Jimmy will or Nicola will take him down.” And yet another agreed: “Please be Jimmy! I hope he can stop him.”
Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
