Tommy Fury ‘off the hook’ as Molly-Mae Hague makes huge decision after split

Tommy Fury has reportedly been “let off the hook” by Molly-Mae Hague in one aspect.

Last month, the former Love Island couple, both 25, announced they had split up after five years together. The pro boxer has since come under fire following cheating claims with a Danish woman he met on a lad’s holiday to Macedonia.

Now it is reported that the sportsman is breathing a “huge sigh of relief” after sources claimed that his ex-fiancée won’t be mentioning the breakdown of their relationship in her tell-all book. The Filter CEO could have cashed in on their shock break-up and sent her book Becoming Molly-Mae back to the top of the charts.

But a legal source told The Sun that the blonde bombshell will be keeping the lurid details of their messy split to herself for the sake of their one-year-old daughter, Bambi. The source told the publication: “Molly-Mae has no plans to update her book with details of the split because she doesn’t want to air her dirty washing in public.

“She wants to keep a dignified silence for herself and for their daughter Bambi. She is not doing this out of any lingering loyalty to Tommy, but, nevertheless, he’s breathing a huge sigh of relief.

“But this is the reality now and that doesn’t mean she won’t decide to write or talk about the split in the future.” Daily Star has reached out to Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury’s representatives for a comment.

But Molly-Mae isn’t the only one flogging an autobiography this year. Her former fiancé is also putting out a memoir in October after he signed a six-figure deal about his life outside of the ring.

Renowned industry publication The Bookseller previously said the contract to write his book Lightning Can Strike Twice was a “substantial” six-figure agreement. Senior commissioning editor, Tig Wallace, at publishers Sphere, told the outlet: “Tommy Fury’s inspiring autobiography doesn’t just delve into how he carved out an unbeaten professional career against the odds.

“[It also] lets us into all areas of his life with honesty, humility and warmth.” Speaking about the upcoming launch, Tommy previously said: “I am super excited for the release of my first book this year!

“I finally get to show you all the man away from the boxing ring and TV. I’m going to take you along with me as I take a trip down memory lane, going through all the trials and tribulations I faced growing up as well as all the struggles that have led me to where I am today, as well as looking towards the future and what that may hold for me.

“It’s a bumpy ride, so fasten your seatbelts! I hope you enjoy the book.” The boxer is also charging fans for signed copies of his book – but it appears as though his offer has fallen on deaf ears.

Sales for his book so far have been slow, with the tell-all book currently sitting at number 14,946 in the Amazon book charts. This is despite the fact that the star has slashed the price of his book from £25 down to just £12.50 following his cheating scandal.

It comes after Molly-Mae returned to social media for the first time since she announced their separation online with a short message to her fans. The former PrettyLittleThing creative director shared a snap of herself leaning over a wooden railing which looked out onto a serene lake.

She was dressed in a casual white outfit and pulled her blonde tresses up into a neat bun. The doting mum thanked fans for their continued support, captioning her photo: “Thank you for being the best online friends I could’ve ever wished for.”
