Emma Willis revealed she first met her famous husband when she was a “bridesmaid at his wedding”.
The Love Is Blind hosts spoke to Capital Xtra about the early stages of their romance and how they first met. The presenter said to Emma: “You actually interviewed Matt before you started dating. Is this correct?”
To which she responded: “Yeah, I worked at MTV, and the boys would kind of come on and we would have to interview them.” The host then added: “I have some questions. What were your initial thoughts of Matt?”

Emma laughed: “The first time I ever met Matt I was his bridesmaid on a TV show. Crash The Wedding was out at the time and they came on the show and we did a wedding for them.

“Matt was the band member getting married to a fan. I was the bridesmaid. That’s the first time I ever met him. He doesn’t remember this, but we did pass each other offset, and I thought to myself, underneath all that makeup, he’s really cute.”
Matt added: “I was like 19/20 with horrendous acne. I was like cover that up, brother. I had eyeliner on everything, purple hair, and the whole emo phase was proper at the time. But I knew exactly who she was. I watched TRL, and I knew exactly who that hot girl on MTV was.”

The former boyband member and ex-Big Brother host tied the knot in 2008 and have three children together. They share Isabelle, 15, Ace, 12, and Trixie, eight.
Speaking about the sweet bond between Matt and their kids, Emma told the Dadpod podcast: “He’s like the fourth child. And that for me, is perfect, because I think he has such a fantastic bond and relationship with them because he can get down to their level, do you know what I mean? And when they want fun, they go to him.”

Talking about her kids on Instagram she also once posted: “Raised in exactly the same way, yet all completely unique. My teenager before her time, my boss lady baby, and my rainbow boy.”
