Noel Gallagher’s clothing line mocked by fans who have no idea ‘where to wear it’

Noel Gallagher has rarely left headlines in recent days.

Ever since the Oasis star announced he would be reuniting with his brother Liam for a reunion tour, his name hasn’t left people’s lips.

Over the weekend, millions of people across the nation sat in queues for hours trying to get tickets to watch the Britpop pair play live. And demand has proven to be so high that more tour dates have been announced.

Even though the brothers seem to be incredibly busy right now, this hasn’t stopped them from working on side projects. In fact, Noel has collaborated Manchester City football club.

They’ve launched a clothing range that was recently unveiled on X. Garments in the line – titled “Definitely City” as a nod to Oasis album ‘Definitely Maybe’ – are adorned with the club’s badge.

But unsurprisingly, those who aren’t football fans don’t seem to be very thrilled with the news. Some shared their brutally honest thoughts on X.

One posted an image of a sporty-style shirt, asking: “Where would you wear such an item of clothing? To what event?” Meanwhile, others asked what the design is even meant to be.

A fashion critic wrote: “What’s he actually designed here? It’s a standard overshirt with two badges.”

Despite the dislike though, others pointed out there was a key audience for the clothing. While some may wear the items to watch City play, others could choose to snap up the garments to wear to the upcoming Oasis gigs.

A fan wrote: “I went to watch Liam Gallagher a few years ago and it was full of people wearing City shirts. Weird breed them and the Oasis reunion gig will be full of people wearing this as a result.”
