Tommy Fury is reportedly in talks to join I’m A Celebrity after splitting from Molly-Mae Hague.
According to sources, ITV bosses believe the pro boxer, 25, would prove to be a huge hit with viewers for this year’s series Down Under. It is understood that talks are taking place with Tommy, who broke up with the Filter CEO last month amid claims that he cheated on her.
The former Love Island hunk has vehemently denied these claims and could use the festive reality show to share his side of the story. A TV insider said: “Tommy is a great name as a potential campmate as he’s already known to the ITV audience and he’d be brilliant in the Bushtucker Trials.

“Bosses are talking with lots of celebrities and are determined to make this year’s line-up of the best. They also know that the super-fit boxer is likely to be a prime candidate for the annual hunk-in-the-jungle shower scenes.”
A spokesman for ITV told The Sun last night: “Any names suggested for I’m A Celebrity . . . Get Me Out Of Here are speculation.” The half-brother of heavyweight fighter Tyson appeared on Love Island back in 2019, just one year before he became a pro boxer.
His reality TV stint made him almost as famous as his fighting champ brother, 36. Loyal fans will recall how he paired up with Molly-Mae and finished as runners-up behind winners Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea.
Their relationship went from strength-to-strength after they left the villa, and in January last year they welcomed their daughter, Bambi. Six months later, Tommy proposed on a clifftop in Ibiza, surrounded by white roses.
But their fairytale romance came to an end in August, when Molly-Mae announced on Instagram that they had decided to go their separate ways. Their split soon sparked cheating accusations after Danish clubber Milla Corfixen, 20, was reported to have shared a kiss with him on a lad’s holiday.
Tommy soon left the Cheshire mansion he shared with the blonde bombshell. Two weeks after their split, he took to Instagram to share his struggles online.
He wrote: “These last few weeks have been heartbreaking. The false allegations about me have been horrendous, thank you to everybody who has stood by me through this.”
If the star signs up for I’m a Celeb, which will be returning to our screens this November, ITV bosses will hope for more revelations around the campfire. But the gruelling trials may not be the only struggles the star could face in the jungle following reports of fire ants in the area.
The Australian town of Murwillumbah where the show is filmed is one of several areas which has becoming infested by the copper-brown biters. Experts have warned locals “not to get too close” because the insects are aggressive and can swarm when disturbed across New South Wales.
If bitten, victims experience “a nasty burning and itching sensation, lasting up to an hour” and anyone who receives multiple stings will feel “their body is on fire.” In very rare cases, the stings have caused a severe allergic reaction and even death.
It could mean that the jungle stars will have to ditch their string bikinis and teeny trunks to avoid any trips to the medics. An insider reassured The Sun: “Trust me, no one will want fire ants in their pants.”
