Diddy predicted his arrest 25 years ago after bragging about ‘crazy’ parties

Diddy spoke about getting arrested for throwing wild parties in an eerie resurfaced interview.

The disgraced rapper, real name Sean Combs, has been arrested and is facing charges that include sex trafficking, kidnapping, arson, and racketeering conspiracy. He has been locked up at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center and has been denied bail.

But 25 years ago, he appeared to hint at his arrest while bragging about his wild White Parties – the ones at the centre of the federal case against him. He bragged about his infamous parties getting shut down and vowed not to stop throwing them.

He told Entertainment Tonight: “They won’t even give me a permit for the parties no more. They don’t want me to throw the parties no more.

“We ain’t gonna stop, we gonna keep on having fun, bringing people together from all walks of life. You’re gonna hear about my parties, they’re gonna be shutting them down, probably be arresting me, doing all types of crazy things just because we wanna have a good time.”

He insisted his parties “ain’t nothing but breaking down racial barriers, breaking down generation barriers, people from all walks of life…. It’s just people from all walks of life connecting and getting together.”

Asked why his parties had caught the attention of police, Combs said: “Whenever you bring up a different element into people’s environment, things that broaden people’s horizons, people get intimidated.”

The debaucherous White Parties took place at The Hamptons (New York City) in the nineties and early noughties. Ashton Kutcher, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jay-Z and Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Russell Brand, Tommy Lee, Pamela Anderson and Paris Hilton are just some of the celebs that have been pictured at the shindigs.

It is not suggested any of those named as having attended his parties took part in or were aware of any alleged wrongdoing. According to music industry insider Tom Swoope and others, drugs including cocaine and ecstasy were being snorted of all kinds of surfaces, including the bodies of guests, at the bashes.

Diddy allegedly created “a criminal enterprise whose members and associates engaged in, and attempted to engage in, among other crimes, sex trafficking, forced labour, kidnapping, arson, bribery and obstruction of justice”. The allegations were laid out in a federal indictment against the musician, who has plead not guilty to charges of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking.

The indictment alleged that he held what he called “freak-offs”. They were allegedly sex performances in which he drugged and coerced the victims into sex acts with male sex workers, which, according to the indictment, sometimes lasted multiple days.
